Food Truck Heaven at Mobile Chowdown

I’m quite sad I won’t be here for this momentous event this weekend. Just picture it…seven amazing food trucks in one area here in Seattle. Granted, if you go down to Portland — they have this everywhere, but here in Seattle? It’s unheard of. And I’m quite excited for the lucky folks who get to enjoy it.

This is what it’s all about and why it’s so easy for food trucks to band together and do something like this. I would imagine that food trucks are somewhat like start-ups in that aspect. They have a bit more flexibility than the traditional brick and mortar shops, which in a case like this — is a good thing.

If you have something to do for lunch on Saturday, cancel it and make your way do to Mobile Chowdown 2009 — trust me, you won’t regret it.
